i have a Speed Stream router for internet right now and have DSL. what kind of wireless router should i get for me computer? also ive looked some wireless routers up and what the hell is a N networkin %26amp; G networking? What's the difference between N networking and G networking?
Check you machine i=and get the one that works for you.
N is faster but it's unlikely you'll notice -
N is still not a standard which means you'll maybe face issues and flaws.
For home use go G it's cheap and everywhere. What's the difference between N networking and G networking?
N and G represent different network speeds. B is another classification, the slowest one (extremely slow).
Of the two N is faster than G, and if you have a somewhat fast DSL connection (256 kbps or more) than an N router is your best bet.
As for what kind of router to get, I recommend Linksys, which is what I own. I've heard that Net Gear is a good alternative too, but I can't say from experience. What's the difference between N networking and G networking?
N routers can transfer data faster than G routers. And wireless N supposedly has a greater range than G. But unless your internet connection lets you download at more than 7 megabytes per second, you won't notice a difference in speed.
