  • What is the differnence between nat and bridge networking in vmware?

What is the differnence between nat and bridge networking in vmware (windows)

thanksWhat is the differnence between nat and bridge networking in vmware?
When you use NAT, you are putting the guest on its own private network that is "behind" the host machine. If you don't trust the software you will be running on the guest, or if you think other people on your main network might try to do bad things to the guest VM, then using NAT is a good option. However, NAT also adds an extra layer of complexity which can make it more likely that the guest will have connectivity issues, especially with the outside world (i.e. the Internet).

In bridged networking, your network card just provides multiple connections to the same network. If your goal is to have your guest behave exactly the same as if you had just plugged another physical computer into your network, you will probably want to use the bridged networking option.

What organization is best for business networking?

I was wondering what organization is best for business networking: my local chamber of commerce or another organization such as BNI or NACE? If I'm going to be paying $300 for a membership, I want to make sure I'm getting into the best organization.

You do not need 2 identities for website. Just create one. It's all online so it doesn't matter what computer you log in from. You only need one isp and and a wireless router for your house.Networking and what is needed to get started?
do i need 2 identies to log into websites

    No.

and do i need to pay for 2 isp's.

No. If you have broadband (like cable or DSL) get a router from your local mega super crazy store ( Wal-mart sells em.. )

A Router (preferably one that has wireless.) you may need some CAT5 networking cables for any PC's you have that aren't wireless.

  • Want to start over in Computer Networking but have a different Bachelor's Degree?

I have already finished my Bachelor's of Science Degree Major Hospitality/Tourism, but after working a year realized this is not the field that I really want to do the rest of my life. (I really just fell into that major to get a degree). After doing a little research I found computer networking to be something I really interested in and could see myself doing.

The problem is I don't know where to begin. I understand that along with courses, I need certifications (A+, CCNA, etc) and experience. I don't know whether to just start completely over in the field to get adequate knowledge (get an associates) or would it even be possible to major at a university and get a second bachelors degree in computer science? My basic question is what would be the best route to pursue a career in this field considering my educational background? What would be the approximate time that I would be able to finish all certifications and be able to start a career?Want to start over in Computer Networking but have a different Bachelor's Degree?
Depending on the school you received your degree from, you may want to look into transferring your degree to a school that offers a BS program in Information Technology or Computer Informations Systems. Most of your core classes will be the same, and I would imagine elective credits would transfer as well. This would get you well on your way to a second Bachelors as opposed to just getting an Associates. I mention those two specific degree programs because they are more focused on the networking side of the house, where a degree in computer science is more focused on computer programming and software development.

I can tell you that from my perspective as an IT supervisor, I am far more interested in experience than anything else. You can show me a degree, and certifications, which indicates to me that you have enthusiasm and a genuine interest and have attained the minimum skill sets necessary to perform the duties of a systems administrator, and that is great to have... But the bottom line is, none of that matters in a real world scenario. If I ask you to troubleshoot an internet connectivity problem between an ISA server and a workstation in an adjacent building, you'd better know what you're doing, and you better act fast. Certifications and degrees don't teach that... It's something you get as you learn the art of networking.

All that said, completion of a second bachelors in IT or CIS should take 18 - 24 months. If certifications are part of the degree program, then you can attain them in parallel with your degree.

Something else to consider is that most employers don't really care what your degree is in. Here is what a degree means to me... It means that you have the drive and motivation to complete a long term goal, and you are serious about success. So with that in mind, you may consider persuing the certifications and sticking with your current degree just to show you graduated from college.

You come in armed with a degree (in anything), along with MCSE and CCNA certifications, and I would give you a serious look as a jr. administrator with no experience. Those two certs are key to a good knowledge base to start from. MCSE will give you a strong background in the operating system and protocol concepts used in the Microsoft environment, and CCNA will give you a strong background in TCP/IP, the OSI reference model, and routing. Getting the certifications can take a while if you need training. Classes for each exam can be up to 6 weeks long, and to achieve MCSE and CCNA you'll need to take 9 exams total.

I almost forgot, there is a MCSA cert now which only requires 4 exams, where MCSE requires 7. MCSA can get you in the door. MCSE can get you a substantial pay raise.

MCSA and CCNA with their respective classes would take a motivated person roughly 9 - 12 months to complete.

If you go to this URL - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/sixsteps.mspx

It's a great resource to point you in the right direction on getting your Microsoft certifications. Everything from certifications available, exams for those certs, where you can get the training, practice exams, and how to register and take the exams. Great stuff!

On the Cisco end, go here - http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/learning_career_certifications_and_learning_paths_home.html

There are tons of links that will get you on the right path to get CCNA certified.

As you can probably see by checking out those web sites, the continuing education available via certification paths is pretty broad. The higher the level of cert you hold, the more "in demand" you become.

As mentioned though, I would start with MCSA and CCNA and work your way up from there.

Once you have about 5 years of experience you can start looking for more advanced positions such as Sr. Administrator / Analyst, etc... There is a lot of money to be made in this field, so never sell yourself short. I like to think we are the doctors of the new age. I have no idea about the price but i know a company which provides web development for every budget and size. You need to be clear what aspects you wnat to cover in your site and also the budget.

Try visiting silexsolutions.comWhat is the estimated cost of building up a social networking site from scratch in India?
That depends entirely upon how sophisticated you want the site to be. You would need a server at least capable of handling individuals account information. Which really means you need microprocessors not just space on a hard drive. What is the estimated cost of building up a social networking site from scratch in India?
cost around 300 USD to setup a forum, including a custom theme, hosting, and a domain name.

some people use free forum software which cuts out almost 200 USD :P

so if you use free web apps, a beginning web hosting package with domain will be around 100 USD. (includes domain name)

    all for one year.

All social networking sites have links with 3rd parties. So for instace if you put i like jams on your facebook, you will get emails from a marmite distrubtor. This is legal because when you sign up and click accept you accept all of this. I would recomend face book and bebo but no sites such are these are completly 'safe'. To be 'safe' you simply need to have social and moral awareness and not put anything online that you wouldnt mind waving in front of the public because that is exactly what social networking is about!

What are packets when talking about networking?

I found this programs about networking and it says this about packets, the problem is that I don't know what a packet or packets are?

Here is what the program says: "This application captures every packet on the wire to display important information such as a list of packet"What are packets when talking about networking?
In an IP based network, such as a LAN or the Internet, all data that is sent or received will be in the form of packets. Its a unit of data that is being sent from a source to a destination. What are packets when talking about networking?
Message ( Request) are sent over the network from one computer to the next. These messages are the visible part that humans see, but each message has other information that must be contained also. This is information on where to send it to, what route along the network and who the recipient is. It may also contain information such as, what to do if recipient is offline, etc. So you message is wrapped in this container and sent..a ccomplete message and wrapper is called a packet, and a packet can be broken apart to be assembled on the other end.

I have been a Network Engineer since 99 and am still enjoying it on a daily basis. Although I would say that VB is starting to interest me. What is the Procedure of Creating Wireless networking?

i have a 200 Computer. Network 100 computer in 1st building and 55 Computer in 2nd Building and 45 computer in 3rd building. I have IBM Server Please give me suggetion. and pricedure of wireless networking. What is the Procedure of Creating Wireless networking?
    1. Create a common profile in your server using your wireless software/ windows wireless configuration .
-to access the windows configuration start-%26gt;connect to -%26gt; wireless configuration
    2. Then create a profile either in windows or by your wireless software
3.then search for the profiles in each of your host and then click connect to be connected in your profile.
    4. Make sure that all are connected to same profile.
    5. Then you can share the files by knowing the ip address of computer (to do it start%26gt;run%26gt;then type this //ip address)
6.you can also create network setup wizard by start %26gt;network connection%26gt;then click setup a network wizard and create a network setup of your own.
    7. Then you can find all other computers shared. What is the Procedure of Creating Wireless networking?
to do this properly a wireless network should never run directly on your LAN its better to have a seperate broadband connection that you share and then use a VPN product such as iRas to connect to your LAN via a secure connection.

Or you could just hang a wireless access point off of each router in the vacinity of the offices - you may need to add extra wireless points if the office is very large - once this is done just implement your wireless security. this method though does mean if anyone is able to get onto your wireless network they are on your LAN of course, but using the VPN method means workers can connect from anywhere in the world as long as they have valid credentials.

I'm taking a web design certificate and figured I'd take this class too over the summer because I have nothing to do. But what is networking fundamentals going to help me with? How would that help with making websites? What kind of websites would I be able to make if I know networking fundamentals? I don't want to be a web designer. I just want to be an entrepreneur who maybe has a website. Is this class going to be useless? What's the point of networking fundamentals class?
Maybe you will actually learn how networks work rather than the 'well I plug that blue cord in here...' type that most people think. I think a basic knowledge of networking is a requirement if there is any interest in computers. Networks are driving society today (internet, cloud computing, file sharing, etc)

    Technology classes are never useless!

What are the basic courses I should take to learn networking?

what is basic to get started with networking as I know nothing, Programming, HTML, JavaScript, Css or what? What are the basic courses I should take to learn networking?
Microsoft Certified Network Engineer / Administrator (MCSE / MCSA)

    Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)

I am not recommending coaching, but to clear these certifications. If you are done with the certifications, you future will be more shiny than a mirror!

Both of these are sufficient, if you still wanna do something more, go for (Cisco Certified Network Professional) CCNP.What are the basic courses I should take to learn networking?
I am in college and one of my units is website production and it is exactly what you are asking, we learn HTML, JavaScript, CSS and C#. Try looking on the internet at your local colleges for 'software development' if you're in the UK it might come up with something like 'BTEC National Diploma In IT Level 3 (or 2)' Which is the course i'm doing. Give it a look and see if you fancy it. :)

What is the best way to find a job? I've heard about networking but how does that work?

Can someone give me a detailed picture of HOW their "networking" got them a job? You can't ask someone in a company for a job so then how is it done? I know that front door job searches are extremely unlikely to get you a job in these yucky economic times. So how is networking performed? I need a strategy that works and will get me a job preferably by the end of january at the latest. What is the best way to find a job? I've heard about networking but how does that work?
Two out of the three jobs that I've had were gotten through networking, knowing someone within a company who can put in a good word for you. In my first one, it was a teacher I had in high school who told me about the job. And in the second, it was my dad who got it for me. Now, at my current job, I got it without knowing anyone there. I just applied, interviewed, and got it.

To start networking, just start with the people you already know. Let them know that you're looking for a job and ask them to tell people they know that you're looking for one. Eventually, word will get around to someone who can actually hire you. But don't give up on actually going out to companies and asking for jobs and leaving your resume.

What do you think is essential in any social networking websites?

for eg: what do people look out in social networking website such as Facebook, Myspace or Orkut etc...and why do people invest so much time in these sites.....

this is just an query that i have in my mind...so no offence to anybodyWhat do you think is essential in any social networking websites?
A number of reasons (I'm guessing):

    1. They have a natural urge to 'belong', and are unable to do that physically with a group.

    2. Keeping up to date with friends lifes, without having to actually directly communcate with them.

    3. To avoid boredom at work / Because it passes the time.

    4. To ego massage themselves, by letting everyone know how busy they are (which is supposed to translate into them being very important in the general fabric of society).

    5. Because learning or any sort of education is generally boring, compared to contributing to pointless topics of conversation.

    6. Because they want to be loved.

    7. Because they love themselves more than anyone else.

    8. Because other friends are using it and they don't want to feel left out - a mild sort of pier pressure.

Those are a few of the reasons I can think of, off the top of my head.

And I am a facebook user, but normally only access it when I want to share media with SPECIFIC people%26gt; Furthermore I have a stupid requirement that if I don't see the person 'in the flesh' at least every 6 months, I don't accept their friendship. Of course if they're hot they're excluded from the rule.

I hope that helps...or not! What do you think is essential in any social networking websites?
The essential thing is keeping in touch with friends at any time of the day but it can become too addictive for some people. Personally I think these sites are quite silly because you can have countless people as "friends" who you don't really know, this is a danger to the younger users. What do you think is essential in any social networking websites?
Because it's an easy and convenient way of keeping in touch with your friends and people from your past who you would never otherwise be able to see. I think the main thing about it is that it performs on all levels - from the closest intimacy to the greatest vagueness (what with privacy settings, emails, public postings, etc.)
    IT'S CRAP.

that's all you need to know about those sites.

  • What programming languages are needed to create a social networking site such as MySpace, Friendster, Facebook

I've often wondered how these things work, the most advanced my website knowledge is a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, what goes into making a social networking site and what kind of programming languages are used? What programming languages are needed to create a social networking site such as MySpace, Friendster, Facebook
Sites like this use a programming language that can interact with a server which probably stores content in a database.

I personally use PHP and MYSQL but there are other server-side languages too such as ASP.Net

Before you start you need to make sure that your web space is able to parse a programming language else it will be a complete waste of your time. Other than that there are plenty of places that offer cheap hosting if you want to have a dabble.

You will find that learning a programming language will open up your web-designing to a whole new level!

Try a search like PHP 101 for some basic tutorials.
the basic structure of such web pages is all the same: they have a big database, and a server-side program which gets the input from your browser, processes it, and returns an HTML file to your browser, which is then displayed.

On the server side, you can basically use any programming language for this. php is very popular for small or medium sized web pages. Java is also very popular for medium sized or big web pages. I know that amazon is built from hundreds of different modules written in different programming languages. What programming languages are needed to create a social networking site such as MySpace, Friendster, Facebook
    PHP,MYSQL,FLASH

Alternatively you may contact a web designer to set it up for you. Check websites like http://oktutorial.com/
for that you need to use ASP.net, AJAX, JSP etc. What programming languages are needed to create a social networking site such as MySpace, Friendster, Facebook
A server side scripting language like PHP, coldfusion, ASP.NET to act as the middleman between the database and website, interact and make changes to the database.

What is the future of computer networking course like mcse and ccna?

I m arts graduate and want to make my career in computer networking what are the chances for me, plz help me i m so confused. What is the future of computer networking course like mcse and ccna?
CCNA is just the opening now. CCNP is where you need to be to start your career.

Thanks to all the boot camps and diploma mills out there today, A MSCE is so watered down, all that will get you is a seat on a help desk. If you can find one.

I have been in the field for over 30 years and in the past 8 or so I see people with MCSEs that know how to pass a test but can't think through a real life problem.

Also with each new generation of improved Microsoft servers, it requires less technicians to keep them running.

As of now the real future is in CISCO and communications.

But in this field this too can change on a daily basis.

Even CISCO has a lot of hardware competition in the field now.

A lot will depend on what your degree is in. No one hires basket weavers anymore.

But Microsoft has heard the complaints of the companies and for the new certification in Windows 7, for the first time Microsoft will require an extra test outside of Microsoft from "The Helpdesk Institute" on customer service.

    Mike
the chances are good until n unless you know all the basics of networking and various related to it. To go for CCNA, you must have expertise in networking.

Future of computer networking is very good. networking is on the peak currently in IT sector, there are various jobs available for MCSE and CCNA professionals. According to various job boards, MCSE and CCNA professionals has huge demands and recruiters are looking forward for them.

CCNA is a tough and well respected and recognized IT certification in networking field, its cost is also high because of its reputation in the industry.MCSE is a premiere institute of Microsoft Certifications, it is the most well recognized certification in server, networking and system administration field. MCSE exams are cheaper then CCNA and easy to solve as compare to of CCNA.

Note: With your preparation do some job in networking or related to networking , to gain some experience. This experience helps you in CCNA preparation. What is the future of computer networking course like mcse and ccna?
Really, there is good future for all computer courses, what ever the field it may be there will be common ups and downs. So I kindly request you that, what ever the course you do you should hold with little extra ordinary talent, and you should be perfect in it. Regarding Networking it will ends only when there is no more future for computer till that time there will be usage of network and Network engineers or support analysts.

Just after doing course you cant get job, you need to attain little experience too, till that time you cant expect good position in networking. If you have certification it will add little flavour to your profile. Cause now there are many people who are working as Network Admin and support engineers with out certification, but they have enough experience. So, if you are leader and perfect with subject, then you will have future.
Here is my advice, don't worry the future is bright start with CCNA and keep looking for the job in networking field during the process of certification... Probably you may get L1 Networking job quite easily... and then based on the industry you are working and your interset in networking you can further continue your certification path.

I also recommend you complete 1 or 2 papers in Microsoft certification so that you can have mutiple option in job search. (IT admin / Network / system engineering)

Good luck. :)What is the future of computer networking course like mcse and ccna?
CCNA Career Certifications are one of the highest ranking certifications in the IT industry. In fact, many IT professionals and managers believe CCNA certifications bring them more value than their university or technical school diploma! What’s more, CCNA is employing new security measures designed to safeguard the integrity of your certification — and protect its value with employers. A CCNA certification lets the world know you are prepared for what’s next in networking — the next company, the next promotion and the next challenge.

    So, what’s holding you back?

CCNA exams can be rewarding and challenging at the same time — that’s another reason they are so highly valued by IT professionals and employers alike, and now is the time to reinvest in your future.

For a limited time, CCNA is inviting those whose certifications have lapsed to “Come Back” with a special offer. Register and take any CCNA certification exam at the regular price, and — if you don’t succeed on your first try — you’ll get a free second opportunity to pass the exam.

Come back to CCNA Career Certifications – For details on this special offer or to schedule your CCNA certification exam at a Pearson VUE test center today.

Killtest.com has a low price and high quality. It is a safer and easier way for you to take CCNA.
Future of computer networking is very good. networking is on the peak currently in IT sector, there are various jobs available for MCSE and CCNA professionals.

But my advice is that, first start MCSE then CCNA, and if possible go for any professionel level certification like (CCNP, CCVP) after CCNA.

For study MCSE and CCNA explore given site........

    http://www.ComputerFreeTips.com
well first understand the basics of system hardware..then join N+ this you have to learn perfectly..then join mcsa..pass 1 client xp 90 to 270 paper then one 2003 server admire paper..then take at least 1 year of experience as hardware engg or network enng in a small company..then improve your communication..then you can find a job in lL1 tech support or system admin..or tech support in BPO..its a evergreen course. i think .. i to have done the same..
Your best bet would be to look into an A+ course first to learn the basics well. After that you should study CCNA and MCSE (if you want Microsoft training which you shouldn't need) Also get work in the industry and learn through doing.
u can be a database administrator

    and nothing else...go for MCA

    BUT right now futures bleak....

so wait for ur chance..ull get somewhere ...atleast as computer technician ..software handler
mcse and ccna is working server and routear basic course

good jobs for big softwere companes ...

What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?

Hello im conducting a study about social networking.

Basically i just want to know:

    1. How has Social Networking changed your life?

    2. What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?

thanksWhat is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?
    1) At first, social networking didn't help me at all. My "social life" revolved around me always being on the computer and my "friends" being those who I met on yahoo messenger and hadn't actually met in person. I did have friends I knew in person, however, at the time, I wasn't actively social and preferred to be on the computer. Today, I'm socially active and social networking has become a good way for me stay in touch with friends and family.

    2) I use to use Myspace, but ditched it after it became bloated with flash and all the extra crap people put into their profiles to make their profiles more unique. Today, I only use Facebook. Primary use is to stay in touch with old friends, new friends, re-unite with friends and family I haven't seen in years as I find them or they find me.What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?
    1. At first I was thinking that Social Networking did nothing good for me except encourage me to cruise the internet, sometimes doing nothing at all. But after I thought about it for a moment, social networking is primarily responsible for the career that I have today! If it weren't for social networking, my people would not have known that I was not working.

    2. I use Facebook 1st and LinkedIn 2nd. This is because all of my friends and family are on Facebook and all of my professional connections are on LinkedIn.What is the Main Social Networking Site that you primarily Use and Why?
    1. It's made me dislike social networking sites... they are a way for people to pretend that they have a busy social life and wide circle of friends... when in fact, nobody really likes them. It should be caled 'pretend friend networking'...

    2. I use Myspace for my music. That is all.
social netwroking is just a waste of tym!.... it had ruined my routine!... my life is out of track!...

Cisco is the world leader in networking hardware and software. The Cisco Certified Network Associate is a very valuable qualification. You will have to study for two years. The fee will be 50000 rupees. The examination is conducted online and the fee is 14000 rupees. But with this qualification you have an assured carrier. With CCNA and 3 years experience you can expect a salary of 50000 rupees in big cities in India. What is the scope of networking system administrator? how much salary they got in India?
I heard not very much. Lots of candidates in India! What is the scope of networking system administrator? how much salary they got in India?
    Hi there,

Since I have been working in the Networking field for 4 years now, I would recommend you go for CCNA course where in it covers all the basic networking and concepts, rather than doing Hardware %26amp; Networking. You will get better salary package than what you get after doing Hardware %26amp; Networking. You will have to attend the CCNA training from any institute (Search in shiksha.com to see some nice institutes) and then you will need to give an exam for the same. It's only single exam. The latest exam is 640-802. Once you are CCNA Certified, you will get around 12000/- as a fresher. (It also depends on the Company / Your knowledge etc.).

NOTE:- If you are from Mumbai, you may contact me at my given e-mail address to do your CCNA as I also take CCNA lectures. I myself is a faculty for CCNA %26amp; CCNA Security courses. My e-mail ID is harshit.shah@yahoo.com.

Hope this is been informable for you.

My blackberry 9300 can`t accep sim cards of other networks Hellppp?

So the problem is my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 (T-Mobile) can`t recognize the sim cards of other networks. My friend says u should unlock it for using it with other network. So what is unlocking means??? %26amp; Can i unlock it at home??My blackberry 9300 can`t accep sim cards of other networks Hellppp?
I highly recommend using http://www.unlockblackberry.com they are one of the most trusted and reliable unlocking services I have used!
Blackberry devices, when sold by carriers are included with a security called SIM lock and it's there to keep the device used with sim cards from the carrier you got it from (T-mobile in your case).

Each Blackberry can be legally unlocked and it's also not a big deal to do it yourself.

You can use service like http://www.blackberry-unlocking.org to unlock Blackberry 9300 locked to t-mobile and actually any other Blackberry model.

It's pretty simple because all you need to get your Blackberry unlocked is the unlock code for your Blackberry it's unique code for each device and can be calculated remotely and instantly by some Blackberry unlocking services.

Basically once you unlock a Blackberry it can be used with any SIM card from any GSM carrier worldwide and there is no need to re-unlock it, your device will stay unlocked forever.

It's also 100% legal and safe to do that.My blackberry 9300 can`t accep sim cards of other networks Hellppp?
Unlock means to remove the network/carrier lock from your cell phone by which you can use your Blackberry curve 3G 9300 with any compatible network/carrier in the whole world.

And Of course you can unlock it remotely from your home through blackberry unlock code.

Search on Google or any search engine %26amp; select any website which offers unlock code for blackberry 3G 9300 then complete your order.

You get your unlock with in few minutes enter it on your cell phone through keypad (as instructed) that`s all. When all this done you can use it with any network in the whole world.

You can also try the link below to get unlock code for your blackberry curve 3G 9300. They have good service %26amp; support

    http://www.trustedunlock.com/

you can get unlock code for your bb for $5 only

    thanks
    Hi,

Yes , You can unlock your T-mobile Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 online from comforts of home. Just need to buy unlock code for your BB and enter it using easy instruction. Your Blackberry will be unlocked and able to accept other networks Sim card.

ThanksMy blackberry 9300 can`t accep sim cards of other networks Hellppp?

Do social networking websites have a negative effect on society?

I'm going to write an editorial on social-networking sites such as

Facebook and Twitter. My opinion is that they distract teens from

school and can even be dangerous. What is your opinion on these

socializing websites and why?Do social networking websites have a negative effect on society?
I would agree with your point in a way. Instead of an alive nice way of socializing, they become a popularity contest. Some best friends misunderstand each other through virtual comments and become enemies. On the other hand, maybe it has more to do with the way people themselves use these websites.Do social networking websites have a negative effect on society?
My opinion is that they do more good than bad. Yes, they have some positive aspects like reconnecting friends but for the most part I don't think they have a whole lot of benefits compared to all the teens who get distracted by Facebook or get abducted after meeting a stranger on MySpace.Do social networking websites have a negative effect on society?
I think so... it is actually DE-PERSONALIZING. People are allowed to be much much faker, and calculate everything they communicate and show (pictures) to others. I hate that **** it is so trendy and for people who try to hard.

I love when ppl brag about how many "online" buddies they got haha so gay. But seriously, it has negative effects and allows ppl to completely interact within their comfort zones. This is true.
they take the personal aspect out of life. it allows people to have a coversation with multiple people at once without even looking at anyones face

Is Computer networking or Computer Programming a good career choice?

Hey! im 18 and im a seniro in High School! and im thinking about goin to a 2 year college for computer networking! I was just wondering! what type of skills does this course reqiuire and what type of Math skills! Is it easy to find a job?Is Computer networking or Computer Programming a good career choice?
You'll need intermediate math and science skills for that type of education track.

My suggestion would be to go to a 4 year college and get an actual degree in computer science and specialize in networking.

Seriously, you will have a hard time competing with 4 year degree holders that live in India and will work as outsourced labor for a quarter of the pay that you would consider a fair salary. You need a 4 year degree yourself to compete.

This is my AP Psychology research project, and our group is doing a survey about what social networking sites people prefer/like the most. I'll need you to answer these questions:

    1. Are you male or female?

    2. Which of the three social networking sites do you prefer the most? (choose only ONE)

    a. Facebook

    b. MySpace

    c. Twitter

    3. Why do you prefer your chosen social networking site over the other two sites? What do you like about your most preferred social networking site? You may give more than one reason.

Thank you in advance!Which social networking site do you prefer the most?

    3. Again, more people using FB, and it feels more interactive with more options to connect with my friends. I used to be hardcore MySpace and resisted moving over, but once I did I realized a lot more people were more active there than on MS.

    2. Facebook

    3. I don't have a twitter or myspace and I like the games on facebook also a lot of my friends are on there and its easy to connect and you can upload pictures, update your status and everything. :)Which social networking site do you prefer the most?
    1. Female

    2. Social Media Sites as a whole are a waste of time. And deserve to burn in hell.

What are some negative effects of social networking?

I'm writing up an outline for English and I can't think of many different things.

So what are some of the negative effects that social networking has on our society?

Any input is good inputWhat are some negative effects of social networking?
Off the top of my head.. I know it's meant to have made kids have less empathy nowadays, less self-confidence and generally more narcisstic.

I know this isn't a lot but I hope it helps :) xoxWhat are some negative effects of social networking?
Well as in social networking websites, it has had many effects in our society. In a negative aspect, everyone depends on facebook and are become less social physically and more social electronically. People don't keep anything a secret anymore, they go on twitter and facebook and reveal their problems there. Its fun and all, but its addictive.
