If the question you are really after is not becoming a programmer, but just creating something to use for an organization or club and you don't have development dollars then maybe something like Ning.com would work for you, most of the common attributes are there built into their software.

None, if such thing existed, there would be a thousand Facebook and everyone would try to get as rich as that other guy!
Of course you can't create anything like that without getting your hands dirty in coding, but you could actually do everything with notepad. To create a website more easily, use Dreamweaver. But if you expect to do a Facebook clone without scripting knowledge or a couple thousand dollars to pay for programmers, forget it right now!!! Follow your dreams but don't be idealistic at the point to marginalize the work that was done to create such things!
