How about the best (secured, and cost effective) database servers? I am in Australia but I have heard of people using database servers based in the U.S. simply because it is cheaper than the database servers in Australia.I want to create a social networking site. 1. There are NO "web-maker", NO "script" to make a GOOD social network: you write your own, using proper coding techniques.
All "offers" of SN are crap and go nowhere.
2. There are about 1,234,567 attempted SN on the web nowadays.
NONE work. NONE has more than a few hundred members.
Why?
Because the sites were made "on-the-cheap", and by amateurs.

A good S.N, of whatever kind, requires:
- An ORIGINAL idea: don't try to imitate FB or Twitter (they both spent MILLIONS to get there). Already too many (incompetent and imbecile) copy-cats.
- Excellent programming skills (eliminates 95% of so-called "coders/designers")
- Excellent MARKETING skills (to promote the site)
- Serious financial backup. (That is: a lot of money! If you have less than $20k, forget it: you have absolutely NO chance of getting anywhere).

Conclusion: If your wallet does not contain at least $20k, no advice from me. If it DOES, then contact me!
